Stillroom is a breathing reverb that keeps the ambience quieter while you play, then gently lets the room return in the gaps. It is designed for piano, guitar, sparse synths and other parts where clarity and atmosphere need to coexist.
Choose a starting preset, play a short phrase and leave a gap. The room should step back while you play and return afterwards. If quiet notes do not trigger enough retreat, adjust Sensitivity; if the response is too strong, reduce Breathing Room.
The central display shows how much wet gain is available. The side meters show detected input and actual reverb contribution, so you can see whether the room is retreating, blooming or sitting open.
Stillroom is only useful if the breathing behaviour feels natural on different instruments, playing levels and hosts. This test round is about finding the places where the response feels wrong, unclear or unreliable.
We also want to know which presets and musical uses feel worth developing further.
No application form and no waiting list. If you have a Mac, download the current test build and help shape the next version.
